There has been increasing concern about different pollutants that exist in the environment. Our group aims to develop nanomaterials based on metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), porous molecular crystals, and metal-based self-assemblies, for the determination and removal of these contaminants. On the other hand, luminescent materials will be designed and synthesized for applications as sensors, photoswitches, and for the fabrication of energy-efficient light-emitting devices.
